Notes
There seems to be some confusion over her surname. In some records she is Selina Spicer and in others she is Selina Spencer. Her marriage banns record gives her surname as Spicer but it is written, and she signs, Spencer on the marriage entry. Worthy of note is the fact that the previous entry of Marriage in the register is for Sophia Spicer - could this be from where the confusion arises?
