No parentage can be ascertained as the Marriage Register from 1755-1812 was lost in a storm in 1834. There may be records in the Bishop's Transcripts but these have not been checked. It would appear that this John Dickery was the son of another John Dickery (buried at Fleet 8th February 1788 aged 54) and his wife Margaret (buried at Fleet 27th April 1781 aged 62).
